For security reasons, the store must be opened by two people:
- The Store Manager
- The Store Key Holder (preferably a member of management staff, i.e., the Operation Manager or Assistant Store Manager) If the above procedure cannot be implemented due to staffing issues, the Store Manager and Retail Operation Manager shall choose an alternative procedure to be formally approved by the Retail Head and Zone President. (Please use the dedicated Form) In the case of Department Stores, please follow the respective opening rules.
Get ready to open Every day, before opening the store to Clients, one or more Client Advisors in rotation go through the 👉 Boutique Checklist and check the following activities: Inspecting the boutique exterior to check for any signs of attempted intrusion Monitoring any third parties operating in the store (i.e., cleaners, maintenance companies, etc.) Checking the security of furs and high-value items, as per the anti-theft procedure 👉 Anti-Theft Tagging Testing the proper functioning of the Electronic Article Surveillance (security tags alarm) Checking that all display cases, drawers and cabinets on the shop floor are locked https://fendi.sharepoint.com/sites/CICERO/SitePages/Opening.aspx

Checking that fitting rooms are empty. If not, remove products Checking the IT Data Cabinet/Electric room is empty Checking the fur fridge temperature is between 15° and 18°C and the light is off. If there is no fur fridge, make sure all the furs are covered by the dedicated cover Checking that the alarm switchboard does not show any anomalies. In the event of any malfunction, store staff shall immediately inform the Facility Manager and the security alarm company Things not in place are written down by Store Managers in the "Actions to be taken" section (i.e., "Call Maintenance to change the ceiling light in the fitting room.") and are reviewed during the morning brief with the rest of the team.
❗ The Store Manager is in charge of following up on "Actions to be taken" When maintenance or replacement is required, the Store Manager or the Operation Manager informs the Facility Manager or opens a service request (if the Service Channel tool is in place). 👉Link Service Channel If the Service Channel is not available, the Facility Manager or the Operation manager in charge of security requests should be informed directly. To complete the Boutique Checklist, both the Priority List and Product Count should be updated daily
💡Product count is a best practice that should be mandatory in all stores, at least once a day
